THE FIRST FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT

In compliance with the promise that I have made you, a few days of the ascension of Christ, the Spirit of Truth was poured onto the Group of one hundred twenty Disciples who had settled in the upper room in Jerusalem.  He had commanded them to sit and not leave from there until they were covered with the divine power from above.  That power was the Holy Spirit.  The event resulted in something extraordinary.  Tongues like fire settled onto each and everyone one of them; and that was how...«"They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them."»...Acts 2:2-4.  Christ had told them:  «"And It will be in you"»; referring to the Holy Spirit.  And I have also told you before it happened so that when you witnessed its fulfillment, you would believe it.

This preliminary phase of the coming of the New Consoler has been completed.  When He announced that he would be taken away from them in order to make way for the New Consoler, they were saddened.  But now that they experienced having received in them the Holy Spirit they felt a newfound happiness that they had never felt before.  That was the shedding of the first rainfalls of the Holy Spirit: the first fruits; the first gifts.  But the gifts were not the actual person.  Paul talks about the first fruits saying: "And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the first fruits of the Spirit..." Romans 8:23. And the Apostle continues saying: "But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit..." 1Corinthians 12:7.  And from that manifestation of the Spirit, from those gifts, from those beginnings; they had been filled with gifts: gift of interpretation of tongues, gift of prophecy, gift of healing, gift of miracles, gift of discerning of spirits, etc.  But as sure as the ray of sunshine, it's not the sun itself, nor the gifts of the Holy Spirit it is the Holy Spirit itself.  Those gifts identify the Spirit in the same form as the virtues of a person, identifies that person.  And that is the only relation that there is with the Holy Spirit and His gifts, as a person and their virtues.

THE SPIRIT CONTINUES TO SEARCH FOR HIS A NEW DWELLING

We have already said that the preliminary phase of the coming of the New Consoler was when the Holy Spirit was poured upon the Church of the Apostles. But as Jesus had taken a body to fully manifest Himself; He continued pouring His gifts, searching for a place to stay. Previously thru Jesus He had said: «And if I go and prepare a place for you.  I will come again»...St. John 14:3. Despite the fact that it was the same Spirit who spoke through Jesus, it was He that was going to return, and He identified himself as another Consoler because He had to take another body, a new Ministry, as a New Consoler, this because it was going to be a totally different Ministry from that of Jesus.  When He said that He would return, if an appropriate dwelling were found, he meant nothing more than to say, it would be impossible to return to live amongst man on Earth, unless He was able to prepare and sanctify a human body for Him to dwell in.  «And if I go and prepare a place for you.  I will come again».  And that place was another human body that He would occupy as his new dwelling among mankind.

In verse 2 of that same chapter: (St. John 14), He said: «In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you...»  With this He was reconfirming His return to Earth, which had become a bit intangible for them.  They could not see more than what they had right in front of them: Jesus.  In Him they had enclosed all of their hopes.  Perhaps they had forgotten that God is Spirit and that Jesus was only the terrestrial dwelling of that God.

Now, and perhaps reading their thoughts, He told them that: «In my Father's house there are many mansions...».  At that moment the person talking to them was the Holy Spirit.  Perhaps they forgot that detail or some had not assimilated it like that.  But He made them understand when he told Philip: «Believeth me that I am the Father, and the Father in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works...» St. John 14:10.  With this He openly declared to them that He did not speak of himself; He was talking about someone else.  And that other being who spoke thru Him was the one saying that He would return.  And that, that body was not the only dwelling He had in heaven, but there were many more other dwellings and from within those dwellings He was going to prepare a new body for His dwelling; and if He was able to prepare one, He would return.  How would we know this?

How will He Come? And to Whom He would come to?

The coming of Christ is nothing other than that the Holy Spirit will be introduced to the world by appropriating a body, which has already happened.  However, for a whole religious group it has already happened and they were unprepared.  He said "For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night" 1 Thessalonians 5:2.  He also said: "Watch therefore; for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come." Matthew 24:42.  Everything indicated that He would discretely appear to the world again.  He would be introduced secretly on Earth.  The Prophet Isaiah said: "Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour." Isaiah 45:15.  Jesus himself once said that if a homeowner would know at what time the thief would come, they would not stop guarding their house.  That is why He said: "And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch." Mark 13:37.  He was watching the people who said: "Lord, Lord"? Were they full of the Holy Spirit in order to know when He would appear to them? Everything indicates that their lamps were off, because "He came to his own, and those who were his own didn't receive him." John 1:11.

He had clearly said that he would not come for all.  He once said: "One who has my commandments, and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him." John 14:21.  When one of his disciples asked Him why he only reveals Himself to them and not to the world; it was then that He was more explicit and answered him, "If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him, and make our home with him." John 14:23.

When Christ revealed himself to the world as Jesus, He was recognized by those He chose to reveal himself to.  He told Peter: "Blessed are you, Simon Son of Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven." Matthew 16:17.  This happened when Peter answered him: "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God." Matthew 16:16.  If Peter knew that Jesus was Christ, it was because the Father had already revealed it to him.  Peter was a fisherman when Christ called upon him and told him to leave his fishing behind because He was going to make him a fisherman of Man.  All the other people and priests in Jerusalem did not know that he was Jesus Christ.  The priests were scholars highly educated in the Holy Scriptures.  Christ was revealed only to a chosen group.  And this would happen again in this dispensation: a revelation to those who could receive it.  In other words, He would not come to all, because not everyone would know him.  "Come to Him", Christ had said.  "I will manifest myself to them".  He meant to say: "I will manifest myself to those I choose.  To the one who loves me, the one who holds my word; to those is that my Father and I will reveal ourselves to and make our homes".  And only He himself knows who really loves Him with all their heart and soul.

GETTING AWAY FROM TALES, FABLES AND LEGENDS

It is our purpose to establish that since the beginning, and through all the centuries, God has lived with his sons on Earth by means of a human body, a prophet. The Bible reveals God manifesting himself in different wonderful ways, but always through a chosen human being. Due to innumerable interpretations of the Bible, there was a lot of confusion.

The human kind has a fantastic conception of God. Some of them imagine God sitting on a chair in the infinite space, and the Son sitting in another chair on his right hand side. These interpretations are very childish, and to a certain extend they are tales or legends. Starting with this belief people await for God to come from above, on the clouds, according naturally, to their interpretations of certain prophecies.

The hope in Christ's return to Earth, stay illusorily sustaining the faith of those who believe so.  However, this goal is an uncertain horizon, that recedes every passing day more and more. The fulfillment of that promise is indeterminate in their lives. Each one believes that it is not for today, but for tomorrow, and that tomorrow never shows up, because tomorrow will be today again. It would be extremely convenient to the religious humanity to wake‑up one day, and by doing so, they could receive the revelation of the truthful Christ, the one they have perhaps ignored and awaited for; or at least that they begin to feel spiritual restlessness and as a consequence, they might awake to the genuine knowledge of God on Earth.

It has been two thousand and eight years since the Christian Era started.  Nevertheless, after he promised to return, there is nothing figure out on that empty space that is in front of their faith.  What is happening? Could it be possible that God has lied to us? Was the waiting period meant to be so long? On the contrary, our experience after we have met PROPHET AMOS is different. Wonderful mysteries have been revealed to us ever since his ministry started in Puerto Rico in 1940. He has done prodigious miracles that nobody could do, unless God itself is manifesting his glory through that human nature. The fulfillment of all his words is a signal of a DIVINE PROPHET on Earth. Exactly that was his promise from the beginning, he will be dwell among the men on Earth. God will raise a PROPHET and he will put his words in his mouth. Deuteronomy 18:15‑18.

We invite you to follow the trajectory of Pueblo de Amos revelation with spirit of justice and charity; It knowledge could change your life to become happy and receive the promises of this almighty God.

People of God

Prophet Amos

September 5th, 1974

There are people spread across the face of the earth.  Even though we may not personally know each other, we are the people since ancient times linked by spiritual ties.  The Holy Bible says that the souls of the Kingdom of God are identified by divine predestination since the founding of the world.  Only one common cause is linking us: To accept the revelation from above, that the Holy Spirit is God who descended in order to manifest Himself in a human body, and to prepare his human organs for this Holy Spirit to enter and use it as His dwelling in those beings already prepared by Him.

The ancient holy prophets from accomplished a lot of great things by the power of God; they are simply our predecessors in this work, the original pattern God continued using to derive his great spiritual work over the earth.  Those prophets who are part of us, and we are part of them, could not be perfected without us. Apostle St. Paul said that there was an excellent path which was not revealed to the ancient prophets, and now has been revealed to us. These prophets, even though were great heroes of the faith, were not perfected until the manifestation of the works of the Holy Spirit on the earth today. We are the crown and the apostolate of those. St. Paul also talked about a group of angels that were going to be formed on earth, which would ascend in glory and would present themselves before the throne of God giving honor and glory to the Creator of all times.  This is the work which St. Paul was talking about. This is the people of God.

Religious men talk about something without defining it, about something that has not been determined yet. They talk about people that would one day be on golden streets, in a golden city with a crystal sea where there will be twelve doors with pearls on them. All of this is said in the Bible. But these are allegorical and spiritual terms to symbolize the souls on earth that, just like pearls and jewels, were going to form part of this great city, of this great work of the Holy Spirit of God on earth. This church is known by the name of the Holy Spirit of God.  It is a signal that this church has and its name is the one that composes the flag or standard of sovereignty of the church from above. Even though we are humans and we have physical bodies, we have a spiritual significance.  God is inside us on earth.  We feel the vibration of his glory. We are spiritual bodies; we are the ones who hold within ourselves this invisible and infallible essence from above, called the Holy Spirit of God.

We have promises from above. Promises of immortality, to beat illnesses and plagues, to beat the spirit of evil.  That Holy Spirit gives us the strength to be invisible to all diabolic spirits and overcome everything that is from below, in order to be able to sit to the right of our God in glory forever.  That is why we say:  "How good and how pleasant it is to be with all our brothers equally as one".  You, the children of this God from above do not have to be afraid of anything on earth.  There are people who have been sentenced to death by cancer; and in spite of that, because of their faith in this God from above, have been completely healed.  The one who has power over death is only One and He is the very same one that is with you in this humble body.  This is the same Spirit who in ancient times lived in Jesus. Jesus was a body.  Christ was what descended from above.  Today, it is this body that is here.  The same one, who descended from above and lived in Jesus, is the same one who is here with His people.  During the Noah's times an entire generation drowned in the deluge and only one precious human load of eight people soared over the waters, survived the universal destruction and prevailed over the deluge.  When God had passed judgment on earth, and destroyed an entire generation, that human load saved by divine revelation descended from the ark, and lived the land, and inherited all the land that the prophets had designated them.

We also have great promises from above, great promises from heaven. Our vision is not material.  On earth there are men and women who are always thinking how to possess material things. They have a material vision and their projects are material. But our projects are not material, neither is our vision. We are thinking of higher, elevated and sublime things that are not inherent to the condition of human life. It is something inside us that gradually forms in order to reach greater things that cannot be measured by the human mind.  Of this holy church St. John had a vision in his revelation of Apocalypses.  In chapter seven and twenty one he speaks about the souls that were victorious on Earth.  He even mentions those souls that had been decapitated on earth because they did not deny God, and these men were below the God's altar waiting for God to cast His punishment on Earth.  Even after being decapitated on Earth, it says, that on God's alter they clamored: "Until when Lord, are you going to avenge the blood of your martyrs on earth, dead because of your cause?" Then you heard the voice of God who answered: "Be patient just a while longer until your fellow servants are finished because these are the souls that together with you are going to form my people on Earth, and then, you will be transformed into celestial bodies again, angelical because if for me you lost your body on Earth, I am going to give you celestial bodies so that you can live in glory forever together with the ones that are victorious on Earth".

THE PROPHET

A Prophet is more than just a person who prophesizes He has always been the personification of God. When God descended over Mount Sinai it was a spectacular event because the people had never seen God manifest Himself. Jehovah with all the power of His Holy Spirit descended over Mount Sinai and the entire mountain was covered in smoke and shook intensely. There was a noise like a horn or trumpet that increased in an overwhelming way.

From the mountain's peak, Jehovah called Moses and told him to advise the People of Israel not to trespass the limits of the mountain because they would perish.  The People of Israel were not prepared for such a manifestation and consequently became obedient, God-fearing people leaving in a hurry, telling Moses to speak to God and tell them what God had told him afterwards...Exodus 19:16-22, Exodus 20:18-20.

Due to the people's reaction God decided to use another way to manifest His glory to His children, and therefore instituted the Ministry of the PROPHET.. Deuteronomy 18:15-18. "The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from among your own brothers.  You must listen to him.  For this is what you asked of the Lord your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly when you said, "Let us not hear the voice of the Lord our God nor see this great fire anymore, or we will die".

The People of Israel were led successively by Prophets. The Prophet ruled the nation directly or indirectly.  During the era of Prophet Samuel, he was the one that had guided the destiny of Israel.   1 Samuel 7:15-17. God reigned over his people through the Prophet.  When the People of Israel rebelled against Samuel and requested from him to appoint a new King, Samuel referred the case to God in his prayers. God responded immediately: "Listen to all that the people are saying to you; it is not you they have rejected, but they have rejected me as their King...1 Samuel 8:6, 7.

It was clear the Prophet's position between God and the people. The Prophet was God himself. "They have not rejected you, but they have rejected me". By rejecting the Prophet they were rejecting God. Although God allowed the people to appoint a King, even though they (the People of Israel) rejected Samuel, he continued his indirectly rule over them. When Saul disobeyed God, Prophet Samuel was the one that dictated a divine verdict to dismiss Saul from his reign...1Samuel 15: 23. Upon Saul's dismissal, the throne was empty ready for a new king, and there was a need to ordain one. By a divine command, Samuel went to Jesse's house to anoint among his sons the new king..."1 Samuel 16:1-13.

Only Samuel had the power to dismiss or institute. Since Samuel was the only divine court of justice, Saul came to him asking forgiveness trying in this way to obtain the grace of God that only Samuel could grant.

In the book of The Acts St. Paul says: "And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that Prophet shall be destroyed from among the people". It was therefore unforgivable to disobey the Prophet, because he was God himself. Aside from the major Prophet, there were minor ones that God used for the ministry of prophecy.  They were subject to the major Prophet. In the book of Samuel, 1 Samuel 19:20, it is written "a group of Prophets prophesying with Samuel standing there as their leader."

Apostle Paul preaching to the Corinthians said: "and the spirits of the Prophets are subject to the Prophets". 1 Corinthians 14:32.  Anyone that has received the anointing of the Holy Spirit could prophesize.  But that does not necessarily mean that the person is a Prophet.  The Prophet is a person that has the divine plenitude of God. As a consequence, they are God's dwelling. God lives in the Prophets body and his mind is also God's mind. It is through the Prophet that God reveals himself to the World.  For seventy years that Prophet was Amos. Born and raised in Puerto Rico he was chosen by God as his Prophet to save mankind.

It is written in the Bible "Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the Prophets"... Amos 3:7.  Anything that God intends to do on Earth will be revealed to his Prophet first because among them (God, the Spirit and the Prophet, the holy body) a certain closeness exists.  Once, Moses told Joshua: "Are you jealous for my sake? I wish that all the Lord's people were prophets and that the Lord put his Spirit in them!"...Numbers 11:29.

In the church of the Apostles there were prophets. In the Book of The Acts it is written that there were Prophets in the church of Antioch...Acts 13:1. As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit said; "Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them".  Acts 13:7.

The Bible also mentions that the Spirit used to talk to Peter. This manifestation was probably through a Prophet also. Once while Peter was on a roof he had a vision, and the Spirit told him: "Simon, three men are looking for you.  So get up and go downstairs.  Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them"...Acts 10:19-20. To Phillip the Spirit also said: "Go to that chariot and stay near it"...Acts 8:29. This was something that happened constantly in the church of the Apostles. The Spirit always talked and guided them.  Pueblo de Amos Church has the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

THE TEMPTATION

Prophet Amós

In the works of the Spirit, the Voice is of significance importance.  If God speaks, many things are accomplished.  Because of God's voice the universe was created.  When God said: "Let there be the light", He did not have to conjure up anything, because by simply asking for light, light was created.  And when He said, "Let there be the seas", the seas were created.  When He said: "Let there be the land", land was created, and before long all things were created as a result of the Voice.

Today, God being on earth, when He speaks, things are also created by the Voice.  It is my wish that you love the Voice of God.  Souls who love the Voice of God have many opportunities of reaching great things. The Holy Spirit told me once: "Amós is the Voice" and, today, that prophecy has remained true and will forever be true.  It is the Voice of God that has stayed in this human being to finish His glorious work of picking up His people.

The most important thing is to obey the Voice of God.  For our souls to remain united in order to triumph and reach His promises.  To persevere in this work of God, from the beginning, it is something that requires patience and courage.  A person who does not have courage easily departs and leaves the church. This happens because when temptations, prosecution and/or commentaries come their way, there is no courage to withstand them and, as a result, people apart themselves from the church.  However, when there is courage, the person stands firm and no one could tear them away from this church.

Once the Lord said to Joshua when they were going into the Promised Land, "I command you to make an effort and be courageous, because as I was with Moses, I will be with you. Just try to make an effort and be strong and courageous, for I will be with you wherever you go." Then we find another part of the Bible, in the New Testament, where it says that since the days of John the Baptist, the Kingdom of Heaven is for the brave and only the courageous seize it.  Why is it necessary to be brave?  Firstly, because of our weaknesses, there exists a great battle.

I would say that the beast mentioned in the Bible is our own flesh.  In its sinful fermentation, in its passions, in its interior sins, in the mind is where that great beast exists.  We have to begin to enter into a great battle to dominate our own being that wants to drag us into evil. That is the great battle of the centuries. That great beast is our very own flesh. The flesh is something that we continuously carry with us. Therefore, against our very own flesh is the great battle; the temptation that induces us to evil.  It is temptation that induces us to fornication, adultery, theft, and addictions.  All of that is part of our very own human flesh. These are the things we have to constantly fight against and exercise a will of steel.  A firm will against all those evil traps in order to triumph.

The saints are not the ones who never sinned.  The saints that would have the great reward are not the ones that have never sinned. The Bible talks about heaven's angels. Heaven's angels are not human, they are not made of flesh they are directorial spirits that have the strength of God. These angels have never had to fight for a promise on earth like humans in their body. And in this flesh is where the weaknesses and temptations are. That is why we have to fight against ourselves.  St. Paul said: "I do not fight like the ones who hurt the air, before that, I will hurt my own flesh and put it in servitude, because it could be that if I, who have preached to others, I too could come to be tested". St. Paul fought against himself, against his flesh. He fought against Paul's flesh. Therefore every one of you has to fight against your own flesh. There is an interior being inside of each of you that is part of heaven, and that being is the soul. It is the interior man that is inside you, he is the one who has to overcome, not the flesh. To fight and win until you dominate the flesh. And the one who triumphs within himself, triumphs immediately and forever.

In my prayers I have always asked: "My Lord triumph you in me". In chapter 1, verse 12 written in the letter of Apostle James: "Blessed is the man who suffers a temptation, resists it when is tested, because he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him".  A man or woman who has not suffered a temptation is blessed.  That is not what the Bible says. The Bible does not say blessed the man or woman who has no temptation.  On the contrary, it says "Blessed is the man or woman who suffers a temptation.  That suffers it, however, resists it, and supports it, battles and fights to defeat it.  But that is only one battle that you have to triumph.  Tomorrow another temptation will come, and you fight against that temptation again, because you are on guard, you are wary of the trap.

That is the life of a Christian. A fight of constant battles, one today, another tomorrow.  But if you are on guard, watchful against those temptations that are assaults from the enemy, you will triumph.  And against these assaults is what you have to be watchful for in order to triumph. Blessed is the man or woman who suffers the temptation, who resists it and does not give way to it. A man says: "that woman is so pretty, so beautiful", and he has the temptation in his heart and his mind.  If he continues to resist the temptation, fights it, and does not caress it, instead he resists and battles against it until he conquers, he is the one achieves a great triumph.  That is the career of the brave.  For these is the kingdom of heaven.  Those are the brave, those who fight against temptation on earth and always conquer them.  For those like such is the kingdom of heaven.  That is why the Bible says that this promise was not given to heaven's angels, to those spiritual beings that are directorial. Instead, He put this promise in the hands of man, in human beings where in that fight and great battle is how we reach the great triumph on Earth. To conquer the Kingdom of God and sit on God's right hand in eternal glory.

We have to fight temptation and combat it. Not to nourish it or caress it.  Who has played with fire and has not been burnt?  Who has played with flames and is not subject to getting burnt?  Just like the Bible says: "Resist the devil and he will runaway from us".  Those who God called to this holy work are not holy and angelical people. God called sinners. He called us sinners, full of temptations, addictions and many other abominable things. He called us like that and we started to fight the battle. That is what sacrifices are for.  That is what prayer, vigils, and giving knees are for.  Those are the weapons that God has put in our hands to fight against the enemy's assaults. For us to be able to win in our own flesh and have the Holy Spirit glorified in us.

Every battle that you win a bigger portion of the Spirit you will receive. It is a triumph that you will reach, and it is a higher spiritual position that you will occupy. And perhaps, after you have reached this higher position an even harder battle will come to you. Because after you have reached a higher grade, God will give you another and even higher position. As we continue defeating temptations, we continue to grow from grade to grade.

My life has been this way. It has been a continuous battle against the adversary. Perhaps not in the same way you have your battles today because I had them before you. For more than thirty years I was alone in the rural towns and cities of Puerto Rico working with the congregations. I fought against all temptations with constant prayer and sacrifices. And as the years passed by and I was fighting, winning and triumphing, I noticed the operation and the change that God was doing in my life. I noticed that all human impulses and all of the temptations of the flesh were disappearing. Little by little God was being formed in my own being to battle and triumph.

It was not an easy thing. I used to go to the mountains to pray and cry out in clamor to triumph all temptations. In order to triumph, I used to make trenches and bury myself, as a symbol, leaving on earth all the temptations of the flesh. I used to sleep on cardboard placed on the floor and on burlap ash beds. In the past, prophets fought the same way. That is the way you have to fight to conquer temptation. We are fighting for something so great and that is why you cannot risk losing this Greatness that is with you. Fighting here beside me you have great promises and the support of God. There is no one here who fights with his soul and with sincerity who does not have the strong arm of God holding him and assisting him to be triumphant against temptation. Because this God that I have here, that is in me, is not a God of little worth. He is the God of all times that now has promised to give us the victory to those who remain fighting for this great promise.

So you cannot be undignified and miserable after receiving great promises, and throw away the Kingdom of God for any little trifle. Escape from the danger, and fight in sacrifice, with prayer and all kinds of humiliations to conquer in this precious work. Happiness comes from high above and it comes from the Holy Spirit of God. Do not give way to the devil; do not give evil an opportunity. We must sanctify our lives for this almighty God.

If anyone stumbles against this doctrine, against these teachings, it is because their heart is bad. A good person listens to the teaching and treasures it in his heart. That is why I beg all the brothers to make an effort in order to remain here with me, to reach the great promises from the above.

AMOS, PROPHET AND JUDGE ON THESE DAYS

The psalmist had a hope; a restlessness in his mind and soul. He had the hope to awake one day to the resemblance of God. That God would become to his resemblance, and he would become to God resemblance too. For that reason he prayed fervently: "And I in righteousness I will see your face; when I awake, I will be satisfied with seeing your likeness" .Psalms 17:15. That was possible, he was waiting for it. "I in righteousness I will see your face", he said. That could be possible when the Holy Spirit in his plenitude, dwells in a human body, to become God in that body.  If the human being in equal spiritual condition draw near God and accept him, then we awake to his resemblance. We are as human as he is, while spirituals, and as a consequence we have awaken to his resemblance. Then, we could see his face in justice as the psalmist desired.  This Pueblo de Amos Church has seen the face of God through Prophet Amos his dwelling on Earth.

So positive and realistic the Psalmist believed the promise was going to be fulfilled that he said: "Blessed are those who learned to acclaim you, who walk in the light of your presence Oh Lord". Psalms 89:15. He visualized that Jehovah would have a face.  He was used to know that God always had a face, and that only the sin and apostasy were the things that prevent God to descend and dwell in a human being. Yet he prophesied that God will appear humanly and his face would shine in front of the people which acclaim him. "Blessed are the people that know the joyful sound", he said.

The face of God would be a secret on Earth. In the same way that the face of God would be a secret, within that secret would be hidden his chosen people. The Psalmist said: "In the shelter of your presence you hide them from the intrigues of men; in your dwelling you keep them safe from accusing tongues"...Psalms 31:20. The chosen people of God on Earth would be hidden on the secret of his face.

The face of God is a secret on these days, because only we know that in Prophet AMOS, God is dwelling, and his face is shining in front of us. We walk in the light of his face, as the psalmist said. (Psalms 89:15). Nothing else means the saying: "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God...Mathews 5:8. In the book of Revelation it says: "And they shall see his face"...Revelation 22:4. Since God's promises are truthful and faithful, all of these things have had its fulfillment in such a simple, natural, divine and powerful way. God has appeared among us and we can see and contemplate his face.

Daniel asked God with a humble and earnest petition to restore the nation and to manifest himself as a prophet and guide to his people. In his prayer he said: "Now, our God, hear the prayers and petitions of your servant.  For your sake, O Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary".  Daniel 9:17.   The necessity and petition from his soul to his God was "that your face  shine upon your desolated sanctuary". Daniel was asking for the Lord's face to shine upon the desolated sanctuary. He remembered, while praying in Babylon, the glorious days in Jerusalem when God used to be manifested himself in beautiful miracles through his prophets. He remembered the Jewish Passover and the many times that he listened to the voice of God through the Ark.

But now, the people of Israel were in captivity in Babylon. It was the punishment of God for the rebellion against his voice. God has anointed prophets and through them talked to his people to declare his goodwill. The conditional promise of God to his people was: "Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession.  Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation"...Exodus 19:5-6. They would be the special treasure of God over the other people on Earth in exchange to a condition: "To listen and obey his voice".  Have you hear

THE PROPHET: DWELLING OF GOD

Amos 3:7

God has always created His dwelling or temple on Earth to His own image and resemblance.  Man was God's greatest creation.  He used himself as a pattern to create mankind.  He gave him personality and His spirit.  God would be human.  Afterwards, because of sin, the human generation became corrupt and degenerate.  However, God persevered with his original purpose to prepare a place of dwelling for his Holy Spirit.  It was the human body, the tabernacle that God created for his glory.  In the book of Isaiah it is written: "Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth-everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made"..Isaiah 43:6-7.

Throughout Biblical history we encounter God participating of that glory which He created for himself.  He also wanted to prepare a special type of people for himself on Earth, to dwell and live with them.  He referred to those people in the book of Isaiah saying: "I provide water in the desert and streams in the wasteland, to give drink to my people, my chosen, the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise"...Isaiah 43:20-21.  From among these people or congregation he will choose a person to become his temple.  That person or Prophet would be his tabernacle or dwelling among the chosen ones.  He firmly promised to dwell and walk among his people.  The promise spoken was: "I will put my dwelling place among you, and I will not abhor you.  I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people"...Leviticus 26:11-12.  God would have a church, a congregation.  That congregation would be the people with which God would manifest himself.  During the era of Israel, the Israelites were his people.  During Christ's era his disciples were the chosen ones.  Nowadays, it is this Pueblo de Amos the chosen ones.

His promise was that he would raise his dwelling within his people, from their seed and lineage.  That dwelling would be a human being, a Prophet that would give a body to the Spirit, which is God.  St. Paul said, referring to the Old Testament: "I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people"... Corinthians 6:16.  God would take form from us and within us.  He would be as human as us.  "I will dwell in them, and walk among them"...he said.  This revelation of God throughout the Bible, completely discards the tales placing God in the sky, or that he would descend from Heaven on the clouds.  It could be possible that symbolically God manifests himself in a vision, as a cloud or any other object, but not the Christ which has come in human flesh.

In the book of Ezekiel, God continues confirming the same promises when he says: "I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant.  I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put my sanctuary among them forever.  My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people"...Ezekiel 37:26-27.

This holy church has been blessed by the Holy Spirit because God himself has manifested his glory through our beloved Prophet Amos.  Amos dedicated all his life to the salvation of mankind.  Through him, God manifested himself with great miracles.  Thousands of people have joined this holy church in many countries.  The great testimonies we have experienced represents the confirmation that God himself is living among his people on Earth.
